Bioenergetics Shared Resource Workshop
The MCW Cancer Center Bioenergetics Shared Resource is hosting a workshop on Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Registration and breakfast begins at 8:30. The workshop is open to anyone wishing to learn more about metabolism research. Researchers from other institutions are encouraged to attend.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all registered attendees.
The workshop will be held at the Medical College of Wisconsin, MACC Fund Research Center (MFRC), Room 2063. The address is 8701 W Watertown Plank Rd., Milwaukee, WI 53226, and parking is available in the visitors lot on 87th Street, just south of Watertown Plank Rd. Directions. Campus Map.
This workshop will include talks by representatives from both Seahorse Bioscience and Shimadzu, a poster session featuring projects supported by the Bioenergetics Shared Resource, and an open house with the resource director and staff.

Introductory information about the Seahorse XF96 Extracellular Flux Analyzer and the Shimadzu 8030 LC-MS/MS system.
Why bioenergetics and metabolomics are crucial to cancer research.
