Biography

Since 2019, Chelsea Rowley has worked for the Institute for Health & Equity at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she is a Program Coordinator supporting its four divisions: the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities, the division of Community Health, the division of Epidemiology and Social Sciences, and the Center for Sustainability, Health, and the Environment. Chelsea’s role supports communications and website management, event organization and planning, financial organization and assistance and operational management. Outside of the Institute for Health & Equity, Chelsea is a mentor for the Administrative Mentoring Professionals (AMP) committee and is a member and ally of the LGBTQ+ Mission Resource Group (MRG) at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!) and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Go Panthers!). Chelsea is a curious person and considers herself to be a life-long learner. She enjoys learning new information and skills. She is currently learning to play the piano and taking pottery courses. Besides her work and learning activities, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, laughing, reading, puzzling, and listening to podcasts.
