Biography

Jenny Geurts is an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Health Equity and the inaugural Program Director of the Master of Science in Genetic Counseling graduate education program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has practiced as a certified genetic counselor for over 15 years, is the founding President of the Wisconsin Genetic Counselors Association and serves on the Wisconsin State Genetic Counselors Affiliated Credentialing Board. In her prior role at MCW she served as the hiring manager for the clinical genetic counseling program and has considerable experience in the administration of clinical genetic counseling services. Moreover, she has experience working as part of multidisciplinary research teams with an extensive publication history, covering topics from heredity cancer risk to the genetic counseling workforce.
