Biography

Léon Taquet is an Engineer II in the Krucoff lab. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University where he was elected to the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. Before arriving at MCW, he worked in Dr. Keith Ligon’s Lab at Dana-Faber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, where he aided in research using patient-derived glioma models and xenografts to study chemotherapeutic resistance. While at Dana-Farber, Léon went back to Tufts to receive a post-baccalaureate certificate in Computer Science. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
