Our Vision: Pioneering pathways to a healthier world.

At MCW, we recognize and value the dignity of all members of our community and are committed to an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment that includes individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We recognize that a healthy, thriving community starts from within and that embracing our human differences is critical to realizing our vision of pioneering pathways to a healthier world.
Staff Collaborate Conference Room
As leaders and learners, we believe diversity strengthens our organization and commit to advancing inclusive practices across MCW by modeling the following behaviors:
  • Listening carefully to understand and respond in ways that demonstrate openness to alternative viewpoints.
  • Providing access to input on decision-making for those who are most impacted – including those with previously unrepresented voices.
  • Being open about our decision-making processes.
  • Cultivating conditions where people experience a sense of belonging, fairness and empowerment.
  • Creating inviting spaces to express concerns and advocate for ideas from diverse perspectives.
