Biography

Medical School: Northwestern University

Why did I choose MCW? There were a handful of attributes that attracted me to MCW. As one of the first accredited integrated plastic surgery programs, I knew that MCW would provide a well-refined training experience. The diversity in training environments including level 1 trauma centers, a VA and Children’s hospital were essential aspects that I was looking for in a well-rounded program. By speaking with current residents and former away rotators I learned that MCW had a busy service and a heavy caseload. Perhaps, equally as important, was my experience on interview day. I was impressed by the sincerity of faculty and residents and I felt that they were invested in me as a potential trainee, which represented the culture of the program and their dedication to teaching and mentorship. Collectively, I felt that MCW would be an ideal program to help me achieve my full potential as a surgeon in training.

What do I like to do outside of medicine? Outside of medicine I enjoy weightlifting, comedy clubs, and live music.
