Biography
Dr. Berger attended the University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate training. He received his doctorate at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and completed his internship at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. He is an accomplished teacher and is actively involved in residency and medical student training and supervision.
His academic interests include research on chronic mental illness and stigma of mental illness, psychiatry resident teaching, spirituality and group therapy, graduate student supervision, and dissertation committee membership.
Dr. Berger sees adult patients for couples and individual psychotherapy and assessment at the Tosa Center, while also serving the veteran patient population at the VA Medical Center.
