Biography

Dr. Brundage received her BA from St. Norbert College and PhD in Counseling Psychology from Marquette University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and postdoctoral fellowship training in rehabilitation psychology at Hines VA Medical Center in Hines, Illinois. She came aboard as a spinal cord injury psychologist at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in December 2011.

Research Interests

Dr. Brundage’s areas of clinical focus encompass the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, health behavior change, stress and coping, cognitive decline, adjustment to disability, grief and loss, and nonadherence to treatment regimens in the context of catastrophic medical conditions, including spinal cord injury. She is currently involved in residents’ and medical students’ training and supervision in spinal cord injury at the VA.
