Fayrouz Abu-Hamdan, MD

As a global surgery research fellow, my work will primarily focus on Ethiopia, where I will concentrate on developing their prehospital trauma care system and implementing interventions to improve surgical outcomes. In parallel, I will pursue a master's degree in Global Health Equity, which will be crucial in advancing my global surgery career by increasing my global health research skills and knowledge in community engagement.
