Biography

Mentor: John Kirby, PhD

Research Interests

I'm interested in studying the gut microbiome and its involvement in homeostasis and disease. I'm very interested in the brain-gut-microbiome axis and hope to study a mix of microbiology, immunology, and neuroscience. I've worked in academia, government, and industrial settings and hope to go back into a government research setting after earning my PhD.
