Biochemistry Graduate Student Featured in Recent Article Recognizing Research Accomplishments
Gage Stuttgen, a fourth-year graduate student in the Department of Biochemistry under the mentorship of Dr. Daisy Sahoo, has recently received recognition for his research accomplishments. His story titled “Doctoral Student Shares the UWL Experiences that Created a Competitive Edge for Grad School, Award-Winning Research at The Medical College of Wisconsin” was recently published in the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) campus news and in the La Crosse Tribune, a local La Crosse newspaper. Gage received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in May 2019. He attributes his success in graduate school to his UWL experiences and training from strong mentors like Todd Weaver and Daisy Sahoo.
