Biochemistry Graduate Student Receives American Heart Association Fellowship
Gage Stuttgen, a 4th-year graduate student in Dr. Daisy Sahoo’s lab in the Departments of Medicine and Biochemistry, was awarded an American Heart Association (AHA) Predoctoral Fellowship to study the role of FFAR4 in macrophage foam cell formation and Atherosclerosis. This award was activated on January 1, 2023, and will support his studies for the next two years.
