Biography

After completing eight years active duty in the US Navy, Chris came to MCW in 2000 working for the Health Policy Institute, which after a variety of improvements is now known as the Institute for Health & Humanity. After a short stint with Bioethics, he moved to Epidemiology under the leadership of Dr. Jane Kotchen. There he managed the Epidemiology MS degree program. After completing his BS in Information Resources, he became the primary IT contact for the Institute.

Chris now manages the Data Science Institute’s High Performance Cluster, the Epidemiology run REDCap server and a host of other server related platforms. He is primarily known for the technical support he provides for the Institute of Health & Equity, Data Science Institute, Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin, Center for Advancing Population Science, Global Health and Strategic Academic Partnerships.

Chris enjoys a plethora of hobbies, to include woodworking, racing bicycles and sailing. He also always finds time for his wife and three daughters.
