Research Interests

As Vascular & Interventional Radiologists, we use imaging guidance (MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and x-ray) to perform minimally invasive procedures to treat a variety of diseases and conditions. These procedures are minimally invasive because they are performed through a needle stick made in the skin. We use small catheters or tubes placed into the blood vessels or internal organs. Since these procedures can be performed without large surgical incisions, there is a significantly reduced risk of complication and faster recovery times. Below are Dr. White’s areas of patient care emphases:

Clinical and Translational Research in Interventional Oncology
Chemoembolization & Radioembolization of Liver Tumors
Percutaneous Therapy of Liver, Lung or Kidney Tumors (Radiofrequency Ablation, Cryoablation, Microwave Ablation)
Uterine Fibroids
Renovascular Disease
Genitourinary Disease
Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt Placement (TIPS)
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Peripheral Vascular Disease
