Research Interests
Great potential has been shown in recent years for a connection between inflammation in the Central Nervous System (CNS) and the microbiome of the human gut. My current research interest involves studying how a person's environment (i.e. diet, infection) can modulate the inflammatory response of autoimmune neurodegenerative diseases like Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
