Biography

Kim received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Hawaii and has over 35 years of experience in the field of public health. Kim joined MCW in 2005, and currently is the Program Manager for the MPH and DrPH programs. Kim was also a Program Manager with the Healthy Wisconsin Leadership Institute at MCW working with multi-sectoral partnerships throughout Wisconsin to enhance collaborative leadership and public health skills needed to move community health improvement initiatives forward. Kim worked as a Health Promotion Specialist within the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency on issues including prenatal care, tobacco use prevention, childhood lead poisoning prevention, and immunizations. Kim is experienced in program planning, implementation, and evaluation, partnership development, curriculum development, grant management, and accreditation processes. Leisure activities include spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing tennis, walking her Cavachon Louie, and boating.
