Biography

With a career spanning academia, local government, and community-based organizations, Jennifer brings a rich tapestry of experience and expertise. Her professional journey has afforded her the opportunity to serve on private, R1, for-profit, public, and online campuses, where she honed her skills in leading retention and recruitment programs for students in the sciences. Jennifer's impact beyond academia includes her role in operationalizing the nation's first municipal declaration of racism as a public health epidemic for Milwaukee County. Most recently she led the Institute for Poverty and Systemic Racism at the Social Development Commission in Milwaukee—spearheading research and policy efforts.
