Biography

Robert Treat, PhD, is as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Director of Measurement and Evaluation in the Office of Academic Affairs at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Dr. Treat provides consultation to MCW faculty, residents, and staff in addressing key evaluation and measurement related questions and is responsible for the analysis and evaluation of educational outcomes data for medical students and residents. He has co-authored 28 peer-reviewed journal articles and 180 peer-reviewed conference abstracts, and is a reviewer for Academic Medicine, MedEdPORTAL, and the Journal of Graduate Medical Education. His current academic investigations are in medical student resilience, well-being, and burnout and the impact from stress and intrinsic traits such as personality, emotional intelligence, and affect.
