Biography
Dr. Sawasky joined the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine in 2022 after graduating from her geriatrics fellowship from Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and remained at MCW to complete her internal medicine residency. She practiced with MCW in the Community Physicians group for 24 years before starting her geriatrics fellowship. As a clinician, Dr. Sawasky cares for patients in the Geriatrics Clinic and the WISH (Women’s Incontinence and Sexual Health) Clinic at Froedtert, and HBPC (Home-Based Primary Care) and CLC at the VA. She was appointed Acting Medical Director for the Community Living Center (CLC) at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in May 2024 where she leads and supports a 110-bed unit.
