Biography

Ellen Schmitt, MD, joined the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in July 2023. She is a Milwaukee local and after doing her undergraduate training on the East Coast, is happy to be back in her hometown to provide care to older adults. She completed her internal medicine residency through the geriatrics combined program in 2020, her residency in geriatrics in 2022, and her geriatric fellowship in 2023, all at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her special interests include dementia care and educating patients, families, and medical trainees on all things geriatrics.
