Biography
I have joined Professor Siegfried Janz’s laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Medicine, division of Hematology and Oncology, at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I earned my PhD in Cancer Biology from NIT Allahabad in India. During my Ph.D. I have identified a novel fusion gene CTNND1-RAB6A in the colorectal cancer patient sample. This fusion gene has significant therapeutic potential. With over seven years of research experience in cancer biology, I have developed expertise in molecular biology, cell culture techniques, animal handling, and in silico studies. Driven by a strong interest in immunotherapy and personalized medicine, my research focuses on identifying novel therapeutic targets in multiple myeloma using advanced methodologies. In Dr. Janz’s lab, I actively contribute to ongoing studies that investigate immunogenic targets, and drug discovery, as well as translational research based on CAR-T cell therapies to enhance treatment strategies for multiple myeloma. My ultimate goal is to identify novel targets that could lead to a cure for patients with multiple myeloma.
