Biography

Dr. Jackson joined the Medical College of Wisconsin as the assistant director of Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Engagement for the Physician Associate Program in June of 2023. Prior to joining MCW, she worked both as an adjunct professor within the Master of Public Health (MPH) program along with teaching DEI and Cultural Awareness seminars at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Dr. Jackson has eight years of experience in academic, community-based research. She additionally holds CITI training within research/cultural competence and community research in addition to her Leadership and Capacity Development certification from the Nehemiah Institute. Dr. Jackson was a member of UW-Madison Academic Mentor Board and Academic District representative. Her research opportunities include the Survey of the Health of Wisconsin (SHOW), where she researched Community Participatory Research and COVID-19 from 2018-2020 as well as the UW-Madison All of Us Research program, also from 2018-2020.
