Biography
Bryce Laurin is a medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. While studying at Marquette, he conducted research under the supervision of Dr. David Baker, PhD in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, exploring the role of astrocytes in cognition and substance use disorder.
Bryce’s passion for neurosurgery stems from his fascination with perception and how each individual has a different view of the world based on their unique life experiences. He is eager to investigate neuropsychiatric outcomes using functional network mapping in patients with brain tumors.
