Biography

Timothy Boerger joined the Krucoff Lab in April 2021 as a postdoctoral fellow. Prior to joining the Krucoff lab, he conducted his doctoral research at Marquette University under Dr. Allison Hyngstrom. His dissertation focused on postural control impairments in people with degenerative cervical myelopathy (a mild spinal cord disease). Also, during his time at Marquette, he authored research on the pain experience of people with cervical myelopathy, gait and fatigue in people with chronic stroke, and postural control during gait in healthy adults. Prior to attending Marquette University, Timothy completed a Master’s in Kinesiology from Illinois State University and a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from Concordia University Wisconsin. Additionally, he has practiced as an athletic trainer working in orthopedic and physical therapy clinics, as well as an outreach athletic trainer to high schools.
