Biography

Timothy Meier, PhD, is a professor of neurosurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his PhD from the Neuroscience Training Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012 and completed post-doctoral training at the Laureate Institute for Brain Research in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and at the Mind Research Network in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Meier’s research interests include performing cross-disciplinary, translational neuroimaging research to identify mechanisms of the acute pathophysiological effects of mild traumatic brain injury and their relationship to long-term neurological outcomes.
