Biography

Dr. Ruiz Perez received his degree in Pharmacy in 2016 from the Francisco de Vitoria University (Madrid, Spain) and a year later he graduated in Biotechnology from the same university, allowing him to start his PhD in Dr. Romero's lab, focused on the role of the endocannabinoid system and the FAAH enzyme in neuroinflammatory diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Ruiz Perez joined the Hillard Lab in 2021studying the role of the endocannabinoid system in various neuropathologies such as dyskinesias associated with Parkinson's disease or the neurological sequelae observed in Graft versus Host Disease (GVHD).
