Biography

Dr. Gregas attended Michigan State University for undergraduate training and the University of Minnesota for her master’s degree. She received her doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an emphasis on multiculturalism and the practice of psychology in urban contexts.

Dr. Gregas’s areas of clinical focus include the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness, chemical dependency, and personality disorders. She manages the Acute Mental Health programs at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, including the Inpatient Mental Health & Detoxification unit where she also sees patients and is involved in residents’ and medical students’ training and supervision.

Dr. Gregas also co-leads the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) treatment program the VAMC for the treatment of personality disorders in addition to a providing a lecture series on this topic to residents
