Mark Phelps, MD

Mark Phelps, MD, graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2007. He completed his general psychiatry residency and his forensic psychiatry fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Dr. Phelps served as a chief resident during his final year of general psychiatry training. Dr. Phelps’ academic interests include issues related to forensic psychiatry and the education of psychiatric trainees/fellows. Dr. Phelps currently sees patients in the inpatient, outpatient, and psychiatric emergency room setting; while working on maximum security inpatient units at Mendota Mental Health Institute and with emergency services through Milwaukee County Psychiatric Crisis Service.
