Biography
Research Interests
My research focuses on implementation efforts, health organization management, health policy impacts, and community empowerment. Past and current research projects explore telehealth implementation across health systems and specialties, hospitals' experiences in implementing community health programs, cross-sector collaboration in rural communities, and the impact of policy and type of coverages on patients' care experience. Together, my research builds on health management and implementation sciences to identify strategies and approaches for advancing community health and patient care while improving healthcare systems.
My teaching philosophy is to actively engage students in their studies by facilitating participation and discussions. Based on my experience in offline and online settings, this student-centered approach will facility the knowledge transfer process and the development of student skills and critical thinking.
