Research Interests
My research focuses on the use of non-invasive retinal imaging for studying retinal structure and function at a single cell level. Specifically, I am studying structure-function relationships of the human fovea, a region of the central retina that facilitates high-acuity central vision.
In addition to my thesis work, I am also working on assessing methods to facilitate the use of AOSLO imaging for multi-site clinical studies. The purpose of this work is to expand the clinical impact of adaptive optics imaging and continue to extend its utility beyond the laboratory.
