Research Interests
My research interests include stem cell biology, the therapeutic applications of stem cells, the effects of drug candidates on the immune system and host-pathogen interactions. At MCW, I am intrigued by the ongoing research projects that employ stem cells to elucidate molecular mechanisms and interventions for neurodegenerative diseases. I am also fascinated by the use of stem cells to investigate the molecular and cellular processes of early human embryogenesis. Additionally, I have a keen interest in cannabinoids and the functions of CB2 receptors in the immune system.
