Research Interests

I am interested in microbial pathogenesis and host-pathogen interaction; how do microorganisms evade the host immune response and establish themselves within the host? What methods do microorganisms adopt to traverse the host’s environment initiating diseases? What are the key factors used by microorganisms to colonize the host cells and how do we develop strategies that target these factors?
