Welcome to the MCW School of Pharmacy!

We’re one of few institutions in the country where you can earn your Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in three years instead of four. We also offer a Dual Degree program, where students attending one of our 13 partner undergraduate institutions in Wisconsin can earn their bachelor’s degree and PharmD in as little as six years. 

We are located on a premier academic medical center, the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center. Our partnerships with Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Wisconsin, and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center provide access to state-of-the-art facilities and top practice environments. Through experiential education opportunities that begin your first year, you’ll have the opportunity to reinforce skills in a variety of real-life practice settings. In your third year, our Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences take you out of the classroom and immerse you in the practice setting full time, providing exposure to various pharmacy specialties and guiding you to your future career path. 

Our small class sizes will provide you with significant one-on-one attention from renowned faculty. Additionally, you will find a supportive, approachable and innovative learning environment.  

The MCW School of Pharmacy uses a pass/fail grading system in order to encourage collaboration, not competition, between students. We have found that this format has improved well-being and increased motivation, as well as decreased anxiety and stress.
