Dr. Correro’s care philosophy is culturally-informed, patient-centered, and evidence-based. He is committed to providing affirming and inclusive care, which requires respect for patient diversity and advocacy for social justice. He strives to reduce health care inequities by promoting resiliency. His training in clinical psychology taught him the importance of centering the patient and their experiences in all clinical encounters so care is collaborative and decision-making is shared. As a scientist-practitioner, he uses research skills and empirical knowledge to inform his clinical neuropsychological practice. His involvement in patient care informs his scientific and advocacy work.

Biography
Dr. Correro completed clinical training across academic medical, Veterans Health Administration, and university settings. He is on the Executive Board of the Queer Neuropsychological Society. He is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society’s Cultural Special Interest Group and the American Psychological Association’s Division 44 (Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity) Aging Committee.
