I enjoy teaching: teaching patients about their health and teaching young physicians how to better care for their patients. My goal is to care for patients in all stages of life which includes all aspects of traditional Family Medicine: home visits and nursing home care, prenatal care and deliveries, acute care and in-office procedures, pediatric and adolescent care, disease prevention and chronic disease management. I also believe it is important that the care of the individuals in each family must include the whole person. The body is affected by the mind, spirit, beliefs, culture, social situations, and many other factors. These other areas have to be addressed for genuine health and wellness.
