I believe that all patients should be treated with the respectful, compassionate care they deserve. Every patient has a unique story to tell that shapes their life and overall health, and I listen to that story to create personalized treatment plans. Each patient plays an integral part of their care team in order to achieve optimal health; understanding and working together towards patients’ health goals is paramount to that care. I enjoy caring for all patients, including those with diverse backgrounds. This includes underserved communities such as LGBTQIA+, and HIV communities. I believe the ability to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients is one of the greatest privileges available.

Biography

Dr. Eric Halpern received his medical license at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Christiana Care health system. Before working with MCW, Dr. Halpern was a provider in a general primary care clinic where he provided care to a diverse general population. He has also spent time working in an HIV specialty care clinic where he provided care to the HIV+ and LGBTQIA+ community.
