Biography

Chantel has enjoyed over 20 years in Physical Therapy, working in a variety of settings including hospital, skilled nursing, on-site staffing for work comp injury prevention and outpatient sports. Most recently, Chantel has worked since 2013 with high level elite professional athletes at NX Level in Waukesha, WI offering advanced performance training and accelerated injury recovery prior to joining the Froedtert Health team January 2019. Chantel currently serves as the supervisor of both Sports Rehab Clinic at NX Level Waukesha, Froedtert Rehab at the JCC and Sunnyslope Health Center Rehabilitation. Chantel graduated with a B.S. in Rehabilitation Psychology, Masters of Physical Therapy from UW Madison in 2005 and received her DPT with Sports Certification from Evidence in Motion in 2022. Chantel pursued further education for advanced training and is only one of 11 Physical Therapists in the state of Wisconsin that is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist as well as certified in dry needling. Chantel is also integrally involved in the PT profession as an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is an elected delegate for the state of Wisconsin in the House of Delegates as well as an elected member of the Nominating Committee for the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association. Locally, Chantel serves as the chair of the UW Alumni Coalition for the UW PT program.
 
Chantel enjoys running with her dog, participating in sprint triathlons, 1/2 marathons, obstacle events, racquetball, Pilates and keeping up with her co-workers with periodic strength competitions. Gardening and cooking with her family are her creative outlets and laughter is medicine she takes daily.
