Biochemistry Graduate Student Selected to Attend St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium
Kelsey Nolden, a 4th year MSTP student in Dr. Blake Hill's lab in the Department of Biochemistry, has been selected to participate in the 2023 St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS) at the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. From over 1200 students invited to apply, she is one of only 32 students selected by a faculty review committee to attend.
This all-expense-paid career development and scientific networking event provides participants the opportunity to present their PhD research, attend scientific sessions, meet with faculty and postdoctoral fellows, and learn more about the ongoing research and facilities at St. Jude.
Application to the St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium is by invitation only to a select group of PhD students who have either met a St. Jude recruiter or have been nominated by a faculty member from their university.
