Comprehensive Injury Center Awards 2025 Seed Project Funding

The Comprehensive Injury Center (CIC) has announced three selected projects for funding as part of its 2025 Seed Project Awards. Investigators of these projects will receive $25,000 to conduct research focused on reducing injury disparities.

The 2025 funded projects and their investigators are:

Youth and Caregiver Endocannabinoid Signaling and Youth PTSD Following Traumatic Injury
Investigators: Dr. Christine Larson and Dr. Tyler Lennon

Comprehensive Care Model for Firearm Injury Patients: Evaluating the Continuum of Care on Mental Health Outcomes
Investigator: Dr. Sydney Timmer-Murillo

Development of a Medical-Legal Partnership
Investigators: Dr. Libby Schroeder and Dr. Katherine Flynn-O'Brien
