Application Requirements
- Completed Human Resources Application
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of interest for fellowship program
- Please provide a summary (1-2 pages) of why you are interested in the program and/or specialty and what makes you a good candidate for the program.
- Three letters of recommendation
- New graduate or in school – at least one (1) letter from program leadership
- In Clinical Practice – at least one (1) letter from a clinical manager or physician collaborator who can speak to clinical performance
- Transcripts
- Unofficial transcripts accepted

Application Timeline
- October start date
- Applications open December 1 and close March 31
- Interviews begin in Spring
- March start date (Adult Critical Care only)
- Early decision eligibility with a March 31 application deadline. Contact us for more information on early decision eligibility.
- Standard timeline with the application deadline of September 1.
Interviews
- Candidates who have completed their entire application will be reviewed by the fellowship selections committee.
- The selections committee will begin reviewing applications in spring of each year cycle and conduct interviews through fall.
- Each program selects candidates for an in-person or virtual format interview.
Financials
APP fellows receive a salary of $75,000 for the year, paid in monthly increments.
Benefits
APP Fellows are eligible for MCW Benefits. Additionally, Fellows are also eligible for loan deferment.
