The AOIP lab is located on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute. Our location within the Eye Institute, the only ophthalmology and visual sciences institute in Southeast Wisconsin, puts us in an advantageous position for collaborative research with clinical faculty. Working closely with our clinicians at the Eye Institute allows us to pursue our goal of developing and applying translational ocular imaging tools to improve detection, diagnosis, and management of eye disease. The Eye Institute is located on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 925 N. 87th St., north of Wisconsin Ave. The AOIP facilities are located on the 8th floor.

Driving Directions

Road construction outside the Eye Institute on 87th St. and in the MCW parking lot is currently impacting traffic flow and parking. If you are driving from the Racine / Kenosha area / Chicago
Follow I-94 North toward Milwaukee to the I-894 bypass (Madison/Fond du Lac - Exit 316). Take I-894 west to Highway 45 North. Proceed on Highway 45 North to Watertown Plank Rd. (Exit 40). Go east (right) on Watertown Plank Rd. to the second stoplight (87th St.). Turn right (south) and proceed on 87th St. Turn right onto W. Connell Ave. and then left into the Eye Institute parking lot.

If you are driving from the Beloit area / Illinois
Take I-43 (Rock Freeway) to Highway 45/I-894 North. Travel north on Highway 45 (Fond du Lac) to Watertown Plank Rd. (Exit 40). Go east (right) on Watertown Plank Rd. to the second stoplight (87th St.). Turn right (south) and proceed on 87th St. Turn right onto W. Connell Ave. and then left into the Eye Institute parking lot.

If you are driving from the Madison area
Follow I-94 East toward Milwaukee to Highway 45 (Fond du Lac - Exit 305B). Proceed north on Highway 45 (Fond du Lac) to Watertown Plank Rd. (Exit 40). Go east (right) on Watertown Plank Rd. to the second stoplight (87th St.). Turn right (south) and proceed on 87th St.. Turn right onto W. Connell Ave. and left into the Eye Institute parking lot.

If you are driving from the Fox Valley area
Take Highway 41/45 South to Watertown Plank Rd. (Exit 40). Go east (left) on Watertown Plank Rd. to the second stoplight (87th St.). Turn right (south) and proceed on 87th St. Turn right onto W. Connell Ave. and right into the Eye Institute parking lot.

If you are driving from the Green Bay area
Follow I-43 South to I-94 West (Exit 72B). Proceed on I-94 West to Highway 45 (Fond du Lac - Exit 305B). Turn north on Highway 45 (Fond du Lac) to Watertown Plank Rd. (Exit 40). Travel east (right) on Watertown Plank Rd. to the second stoplight (87th St.). Turn right (south) and proceed on 87th St. Turn right onto W. Connell Ave. and left into the Eye Institute parking lot.

Parking

Eye Institute parking is located in two surface lots. One directly in front of the Eye Institute and one just south of of it. Enter the lot from Connell Ave. and park your vehicle in either lot. There is no fee for parking.
