Residents work one on one with community hospitalists at Children's Wisconsin - Fox Valley in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Transport Medicine
Residents are integrated into the Children’s Wisconsin Transport team and participate in patient transport from all over Wisconsin, refine skills at IV placement and practice assessment of ill-appearing patients outside a children’s hospital setting.
Dermatology
Residents learn pediatric dermatology from faculty in one of the top pediatric dermatology departments in the country. The department features world-experts in vascular anomalies.
Lactation Medicine
A popular elective rotation for residents entering primary care. Residents work directly with specialists in lactation and faculty in neonatology and general pediatrics to learn the most important things a pediatrician should know about breastfeeding.
Anesthesiology/Procedural Sedation
An opportunity for pediatric residents to improve their procedural skills, including intubation and IV placement.
Infectious Diseases
Residents work with infectious disease known for expertise in HIV, rabies, respiratory viruses, opportunistic infections and policy-making.
Otolaryngology
Residents learn about many of the ENT disorders affecting their patients and the surgical steps taken to correct these disorders from enthusiastic and welcoming faculty.
Toxicology
An opportunity to learn from experts in pediatric toxicology and participate in rounds and call at the Wisconsin Poison Center at the Children’s Wisconsin.
Palliative and Hospice Medicine
An opportunity for high volume inpatient consultation and mentorship across the continuum of palliative and hospice medicine for children.
