Proton Therapy Milestone Celebrated at Froedtert Hospital
The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network is one step closer to offering proton therapy in Wisconsin. A topping off ceremony was held today where the last steel beam was lifted into place at the Proton Therapy Clinic. Now interior work begins, with plans to welcome our first patients in the fall of 2025.
Proton therapy is a highly effective radiation therapy system. It will allow us to deliver a high dose of radiation precisely targeted to a tumor.
